Cancellation policy

Booking, Payment and Cancellation Policy

By confirming a booking with Full of Joy, the guest acknowledges and accepts the following booking, payment and cancellation terms.

1. Booking Confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed only after Full of Joy has received a deposit equal to 30% of the total booking value.

The deposit secures the requested dates, vehicle, driver, guide and any other services included in the agreed itinerary. Until the deposit has been received, all dates, services and prices remain subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

The 30% deposit is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.

2. Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 calendar days before the scheduled start of the tour.

If the outstanding balance is not received by the payment deadline, Full of Joy reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the guest. In such cases, the deposit will be retained and any services previously reserved may be released without further obligation.

Bookings made within 30 days of the tour start date must be paid in full at the time of confirmation.

3. Cancellation by the Guest

All cancellation requests must be submitted to Full of Joy in writing. The cancellation becomes effective on the date the written notice is received.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

  • The initial 30% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances once the reservation has been confirmed.

  • If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the tour start date, any amount paid above the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.

  • If the booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the tour start date, no refund will be issued.

  • No refund will be issued for cancellations made during the tour, unused services, voluntarily missed activities or any part of the itinerary not used by the guest.

The no-refund period applies because, by that stage, Full of Joy will have already committed time and funds to vehicles, accommodation, guides, entrance tickets, partner services, activities, administration and other arrangements required to deliver the confirmed itinerary.

4. No-Shows, Delays and Early Departure

No refund, partial refund or compensation will be provided in the event of:

  • failure to arrive at the agreed meeting point;

  • missed flights, transfers or scheduled departures;

  • late arrival by the guest;

  • failure to provide correct travel information;

  • refusal or inability to participate in a confirmed service;

  • voluntary interruption or early termination of the tour;

  • unused accommodation, transfers, activities, entrance tickets or other booked services.

Any additional costs resulting from delays, missed departures or changes caused by the guest will be the sole responsibility of the guest.

5. Changes Requested by the Guest

Requests to change the tour date, itinerary, number of guests or confirmed services must be submitted in writing.

All requested changes are subject to availability and prior written approval by Full of Joy. A requested change is not considered confirmed until written confirmation has been issued.

Full of Joy reserves the right to charge any additional costs resulting from a requested change, including price differences, administrative costs, supplier charges and non-refundable expenses already incurred.

Where tickets, transport, guides or third-party services have already been reserved, paid for or confirmed, Full of Joy cannot guarantee that they can be changed, transferred or cancelled without additional cost.

A request to change the date does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund or transfer of the original booking.

6. Reduction in the Number of Guests

If the number of guests is reduced after the booking has been confirmed, the total booking price may remain unchanged.

Prices are calculated based on the agreed number of passengers, vehicle requirements, itinerary, accommodation and services. Any reduction in the number of participants does not automatically result in a proportional price reduction or refund.

7. Changes to the Itinerary

Full of Joy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary when necessary due to weather conditions, road closures, traffic, safety concerns, operational circumstances, supplier availability or events beyond its reasonable control.

Where possible, an equivalent alternative service or activity will be offered. Such reasonable changes do not constitute cancellation of the tour and do not automatically entitle the guest to a refund.

The order and timing of activities may be adjusted to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the tour.

8. Cancellation by Full of Joy

In the unlikely event that Full of Joy must cancel the entire tour and is unable to provide a suitable alternative, the guest will receive a refund of all amounts paid directly to Full of Joy.

Alternatively, the guest and Full of Joy may agree in writing to:

  • move the booking to a new date;

  • accept an alternative itinerary;

  • receive a credit toward a future booking; or

  • arrange another mutually acceptable solution.

Full of Joy will not be responsible for additional or consequential expenses incurred independently by the guest, including flights, insurance, visas, personal purchases or services booked directly with third parties.

9. Third-Party Services and Non-Refundable Costs

Certain services included in the itinerary may be provided by independent third parties, including accommodation providers, boat operators, activity providers, restaurants, local guides and ticketing services.

Where such services are subject to stricter cancellation conditions or are non-refundable once booked, the relevant supplier’s terms will apply.

Any non-refundable expenses already paid or contractually committed on behalf of the guest will be deducted from any refund that may otherwise be due.

10. Travel Insurance

Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, illness, accidents, missed departures, travel disruption, personal liability and any other circumstances that may prevent or interrupt the trip.

Full of Joy is not responsible for losses that could have been covered by an appropriate travel insurance policy.

11. Acceptance of Terms

Payment of the deposit, full payment or written confirmation of the booking constitutes the guest’s acceptance of these Booking, Payment and Cancellation Terms.

The person making the reservation confirms that they are authorised to accept these terms on behalf of all guests included in the booking.
